ROB GOEHRING 2026 · YVR

Rob Goehring is a serial entrepreneur, AI strategist, ecosystem builder, and executive advisor with more than 25 years of experience across software, SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

He works at the intersection of applied AI, commercialization, and ecosystem development — helping enterprises operationalize AI, supporting startups through scaling and go-to-market, and partnering with government and industry on the strategy and infrastructure required to build a competitive AI economy.

His current operating roles include Founder & CEO of Wisr AI, Executive Director of the AI Network of BC, and Founding Director of the AI Chief Executive Council at BC Tech Association.

01 — Early Technology Leadership
Twenty-five years operating across SaaS, fintech, telecom, and AI — with a track record of taking technology products from early concept through commercialization, revenue scaling, and category leadership. Early career roles spanned engineering leadership, product strategy, and executive operations across multiple high-growth technology businesses.
02 — AI & Emerging Technology
Operating focus on AI transformation, applied AI, agentic AI, risk intelligence, and startup scaling. Builds practical, executive-grade strategy for enterprises moving past experimentation, and for AI-native companies preparing to scale. Current operating company, Wisr AI, focuses on agentic AI for risk and intelligence.
03 — Ecosystem Leadership
Leads two of British Columbia's most influential AI ecosystem initiatives — the AI Network of BC (executive director) and the AI Chief Executive Council at BC Tech Association (founding director). Actively engaged in Canada's national AI strategy conversation, supporting commercialization, economic development, and ecosystem growth.
04 — Advisory & Strategic Work
Trusted advisor and executive strategist to enterprise leadership teams, AI founders, investors, and public sector organizations. Connector between innovation, policy, and commercialization — translating fast-moving technology shifts into operating and investment decisions.

Operating principles

How we work.

Practical
Commercial outcomes over theatre. AI strategy must connect to revenue, cost, risk, or capability — or it isn't strategy.
Connected
Embedded in the ecosystem — capital, talent, government, academic, industry — so advice is shaped by what is actually moving.
Executive
Built for boards, CEOs, and C-suites. We translate the technical surface into the decisions leadership actually has to make.
Responsible
Governance, risk, and policy alignment built in from day one — not retrofitted after deployment.
